- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology plan aligned with the educational goals and objectives of the institution.
- Continuously assess and update the plan to stay current with advancements in technology and educational best practices.
- Lead a dynamic 14-member team, ensuring their capacity to adapt to evolving needs.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the school's technology infrastructure, including network systems, hardware, software, and security protocols.
- Ensure that all systems are reliable, secure, and optimized for educational use.
- Collaborate with program directors, building leaders, and teachers to integrate technology seamlessly into the K-12 curriculum.
- Provide guidance and support in the selection and implementation of educational software, digital resources, and online learning platforms that are all in alignment with EdLaw 2-d compliance.
- Promote digital citizenship and responsible use of technology among students, faculty, and staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and ethical use of digital resources, cybersecurity practices, and data privacy compliance.
- Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to support the institution's technological needs.
- Evaluate and recommend technology investments based on educational priorities and strategic goals.
- Foster partnerships with parents, community organizations, and technology vendors to support the institution's technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to leverage resources, expertise, and opportunities for enhancing technology integration in education.
