We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in engineering design, AutoCAD, cost estimates, and proposals. The successful candidate will play a key role in our engineering projects, providing both technical and administrative support to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
This is an onsite roll that may require 35% travel on the East coast.

Responsibilities
As a Permanent Project Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting detailed engineering design work, including preparing, reviewing, and approving technical documents and reports.
2. Utilizing AutoCAD to create and modify engineering drawings and designs.
3. Preparing cost estimates and proposals for engineering projects, ensuring that all financial aspects of the project are accurately and thoroughly accounted for.
4. Coordinating with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineering staff.
6. Monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
7. Ensuring that all engineering work is performed in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering role, with a focus on project management and design.
3. Extensive experience with AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
4. Strong knowledge of cost estimation and proposal preparation.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on organization and time management.
