Milosi is seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Landscape Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing beautiful outdoor spaces that seamlessly blend aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. You will collaborate with clients, and other stakeholders to bring innovative landscape designs to life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects ranging from beautiful residential landscapes to commercial developments and public spaces. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Conceptualization and Design: Lead the conceptualization and design of landscape projects, including site analysis, programming, schematic design, and design development. Create compelling and innovative design solutions that meet client objectives, regulatory requirements, and environmental sustainability standards. 

2. Site Planning and Layout: Develop site plans, master plans, and detailed construction drawings that integrate landscape elements such as hardscapes, softscapes, water features, and site amenities. Ensure designs optimize site functionality, circulation, and spatial organization. 

3. Planting Design and Selection: Select appropriate plant species based on site conditions, climate considerations, and aesthetic preferences. Develop planting plans, specifications, and schedules that enhance biodiversity, promote ecological resilience, and achieve desired visual effects. 

4. Materials and Construction Specifications: Specify materials, finishes, and construction techniques that align with project goals, budgetary constraints, and durability requirements. Provide detailed construction documentation, including specifications, details, and cost estimates, to facilitate accurate bidding and construction implementation. 

5. Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and project requirements. Present design proposals, renderings, and materials boards to effectively communicate design concepts and solicit feedback. Maintain regular communication throughout the design and construction process to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

6. Coordination and Collaboration: Collaborate with teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to integrate landscape design with overall project objectives. Participate in meetings, reviews, and site visits to address design coordination issues and ensure project milestones are met. 

7. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local zoning ordinances, building codes, environmental regulations, and permitting requirements relevant to landscape architecture. Ensure designs comply with regulatory standards and obtain necessary approvals from regulatory authorities as needed. 

8.Sustainability and Resilience: Integrate sustainable design principles, green infrastructure strategies, and resilient landscape practices into project designs. 

 Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program. 

  • Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Landscape Architect. 

  • Proven experience in landscape design, site planning, and project management. 

  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Lumion, and SketchUp. 

  • Strong graphic communication skills, including hand sketching and digital rendering. 

  • Knowledge of plant materials, construction techniques, and landscape detailing. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively 

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
