Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the following:

? Manage inventory of computer systems, equipment, and service parts.

? Perform system maintenance and upgrades at the direction of the IT Specialist.

? Interchange with vendors for warranty repairs, parts procurement, and support.

? Builds and repairs workstations and laptops.

? Manage repair ticket system and provide feedback to reporting individual.

? Install software on laptop, desktop, and server computers attached to the company network.

? Provides problem resolution and modifications to assigned desktop and server software.

? Provides support for specialized vendor produced software systems.

? Liaison between phone and internet vendors.

? Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience needed in the following functions:

? Workstation Hardware (Swap hard drives, add videos cards/monitors, build workstations from scratch, etc.)

? Networking/Firewall Experience

Physical Requirements of Job:

Physical Skills: Normally assigned to work in an office environment where there is little exposure to dust, dirt, and noise. IT Room can be at a cooler temperature with fans running and dedicated AC. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to manipulate various computer equipment required.

Visual Activity: Able to see and discriminate detail in written documents and messages from a computer screen.

Auditory Activity: Good skills to distinguish sounds in normal conversation levels.

Verbal Activity: Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of employees, patients, families, co-workers, and public groups.

Sensory Activity: Normal motor skills required, such as being able to type using a computer keyboard or the ability to drive an automobile.
