**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in ensuring quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.

**Duties:**

- Greeting patients, rooming

- Verifies patient information, (i.e. medical history, purpose of visit) by communicating with patient

- Preparing patients for examinations• Assisting the physician during examinations & scribing. • Records the patients’ vital signs (including blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate)

- Calling in prescriptions to pharmacies

- Completing FMLA Paperwork

- Sterilize medical instruments

- Stocking exam rooms, inventory control

- Maintains safe, secure & healthy work environment by following standards & procedures as well as complies with legal regulations

- Adherence to HIPAA guidelines

**Skills:**

- Knowledge in medical terminology

- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

- Excellent patient service abilities
