Job Title: Low Voltage Technician Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our team at our low voltage company. As a Low Voltage Technician, your main responsibility will be to install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems in residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities: - Pulling and routing CAT5 cables to various locations according to project requirements. - Terminate CAT5 cables, including crimping connectors and testing for proper functionality. - Install and configure low voltage systems, including security cameras, access control systems, and audiovisual equipment. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. - Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects. - Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment. - Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of cable runs, terminations, and test results. - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in low voltage systems technology. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Proven experience in low voltage installation and maintenance, specifically in pulling and terminating CAT5 cables. - Knowledge of low voltage systems, including security cameras, access control systems, and audiovisual equipment. - Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for low voltage installations. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including elevated heights and confined spaces.
