We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tool Maker to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our production efficiency by crafting and repairing precision tools and equipment.

This role is best suited for someone with a strong background in various machining processes and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the entire production process, from blueprint reading to the final product, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities :

• Interpret and implement specifications and blueprints to create precision tools and equipment.
• Operate and handle a wide range of machine tools including lathe, milling, grinder, and shaper to produce or repair tools.
• Utilize Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) systems to design and visualize machining systems and processes.
• Perform machining tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning to create or repair tools.
• Craft molds for use in manufacturing processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair tool-related problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to understand tool requirements and provide expert advice.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Tool Maker in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with lathe, milling, grinder, shaper, and other machining processes.
• Proficient in the use of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Extensive knowledge in mold making.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certification in machining or a related field is a plus.
