Accounting Manager Requirements
- 5 years of experience in construction accounting, handling hands-on accounting tasks, job costing, and work-in-process reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs essential
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting
- Experience with Sage Intact is highly preferred
- Previous experience working with audits is a plus
- Must be capable of working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships remotely
- Oversee daily banking reconciliations and prepare monthly work-in-process reports
- Responsible for closing out financial statements within 15 days after the end of each month
- Manage intercompany transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Oversee full-cycle month-end close procedures, including preparation of debits, credits, and job costing
- Liaise with external auditors as required, and ensure that all financial operations comply with statutory legislation and regulations
