This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.POSITION SUMMARY:Our Hartwell, Georgia factory is one of our newest in the U.S. This 500,000 square foot facility serves as our most versatile facility yet. With the ability to switch product lines faster and more efficiently than ever before, our team is proud to produce and distribute the brands our customers trust and pets love. As a Logistics Manager, you will lead the Logistics Department (Materials, Transportation and Warehouse) to ensure plant and Company objectives are achieved in the areas of customer satisfaction, order completeness, shipment quality; cost efficiency; productivity/operating efficiency; inventory accuracy; product quality/availability; safety and sanitation; and continuous improvement. You will actively participate as a member of the factory leadership team, helping to implement standards across the warehouse team.
  • Advises all plant Logistics matters. Develops and implements strategy, policies, procedures, goal/objectives, and measurement mechanisms to ensure successful attainment of Logistics Department, Plant and Company objectives.
  • Leads the Logistics and Warehouse team(s) in a dynamic environment, including staffing and scheduling, training, tracking performance management, career development and operational goal achievement.
  • Communicates and coordinates with department personnel, plant management, Saint Louis-based staff, network personnel, carriers, and vendors to accomplish the department, plant and company mission and objectives.
  • Establishes/maintains a personal level of communications with customers (retail and interplant,) including periodic visits to key accounts, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Leads development and implementation of warehouse strategies including policies, procedures, and goal. Ensures warehouse safety and sanitation meets Government, Company and GMP standards.
  • Evaluates equipment and facility upgrades to support continuous improvement; develop innovative programs to continuously improve cost, quality, and service.
  • Monitors costs daily and develops the annual department budget and ensure execution of plan to achieve cost objectives.
  • Monitors and directs order management, warehouse shipping schedules and transportation execution to achieve on-time delivery and order fill rates.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience within logistics, distribution center, or supply chain related environment. 2 years of Leadership or supervisory experience within warehouse, transportation, or related military environment.
Other
  • 1 years of experience with automated warehousing systems.

Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
