Job Summary:
The Hotel Breakfast Attendant is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the breakfast service within the hotel. This position plays a crucial role in providing a positive guest experience by delivering high-quality breakfast options and maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area. The Breakfast Attendant must be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Food Service:
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, assisting with any inquiries and ensuring a positive start to their day.
• Monitor and replenish food items as needed to maintain a fresh and inviting breakfast selection.
• Ensure that food is presented attractively and adheres to quality standards.
• Cleanliness and Hygiene:
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area, including tables, chairs, serving utensils, and equipment.
• Regularly check and clean food display areas, ensuring they are well-stocked and free from spills or debris.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure guest well-being.
• Customer Service:
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests, answering questions, and accommodating special dietary needs when possible.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
• Compliance:
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and hygiene standards.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures related to the breakfast service.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with other hotel staff members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, housekeeping, and management to address any issues or improvements needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 21 per week
