CM&W is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor at our Hannibal, MO location. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a small team to provide support and services to the facility and its equipment. You’ll be involved in hands-on work to fulfill the requirements of this job.

The Maintenance Supervisor will:

• Plan, oversee, and assist with facility and equipment repair and installation activities.
• Work and lead their team independently with minimal follow-up from management.
• Perform routine inspections of the facility and equipment to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure all facility infrastructure and production equipment comply with federal, state, local, and company health and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with department leads to develop maintenance procedures and ensure their implementation.
• Collaborate with outside contractors to perform hired tasks, repairs, and projects.
• Monitor equipment, facility, and department inventory and procure supplies and components when needed.
• Ensure maintenance logs remain updated.

The Maintenance Supervisor needs:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
• Leadership experience.
• The ability to recognize the urgency level of a situation and respond accordingly.
• Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Basic plumbing and carpentry skills.
• Working knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment in an industrial environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Self-motivated attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational degree or certificate would be an advantage.
