Bayview Resort is Hiring a Hotel Front Desk Receptionist Near Hampton, NY

Our boutique hotel located in Hampton Bays is seeking 1 part-time (Immediate opening) and 1 seasonal (May thru October) front desk professionals who are customer service focused, detail-oriented, responsible, reliable, and engaging applicants to work for our front desk. You are the first point of contact in our hotel. You have the opportunity to make someone’s day fabulous.

Hotel Front Desk Receptionist Responsibilities:

· Commitment to excellent guest services

· Greet every guest with a smile

· Manage incoming reservations both in person and online courteously

· Provide quick and efficient check in/out, informing guests of specials and local events, pay attention to guest needs

· Monitor in house text messaging service efficiently

· Interact with guests, assist with inquiries, mitigate any guest complaints

· Charge guest folios, keep appropriate records, file accordingly

· Assist manager with daily operations

· Coordinate with housekeeping to update room availability

· Maintain the front desk area clean and organized

· Refill office supplies, receive deliveries

· Ability to work under pressure and stay positive

· Perform other duties as requested by management

Hotel Front Desk Receptionist Requirement:

· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

· Customer service and detail oriented

· Positive and pleasant working attitude

· Punctual

· Honest

· Good work ethics

· Experience in Google Analytics and marketing a plus

. CPR certified a plus

The position can be season, part time, or temporary. Typically works 6 or 8 hour shifts. Split shift is available. Day and evening hours available.

Pay: $16-21 per hour

· Hotel front desk experience: 1 year (preferred)

· Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

Education:

· Associate degree (preferred)

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
