Primary responsibilities involve breaking down product, stocking the product into correct warehouse pick slot or overstock, receiving incoming freight and checking for quality and product dating and proper rotation. Warehouse cleaning and light maintenance record keeping duties pertain to this position as well as daily task planning to maintain orderly work flow. This position is required to lift 10-70 lbs. frequently, and up to 100 lbs. occasionally, with frequent bending and twisting. Position requires standing on a concrete surface for extended periods of time, and spends a minimum of six to eight hours in freezer conditions consisting of -15 degrees. Cold weather uniforms and gear will be provided by the company.
Position Responsibilities

• Ensure product stored in the warehouse is consistent with the policies and procedures as outlined in our Food Safety Plan
• Breaking down of incoming freight
• Stocking pick slots and overstock
• Operating all warehouse powered equipment including pallet jack, reach truck, order selector and floor cleaning machine
• Ensures that only solid, proper sized pallets in good condition are used
• Check that product is completely sorted for identification and put away
• Accurately match product to information on purchase order and note any exceptions
• Ensures proper product slotting and rotation
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
• Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards

Skills And Experience

• Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Prior warehouse experience
• Great attention to detail
• Diligent, dependable, and punctual
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Opportunities for growth and advancement to other shifts and positions within the company.
