Job Description
Performs duties related to dispatch; carries out multiple tasks simultaneously; answers multiple phone lines; assesses and prioritizes incoming 911 emergency, non-emergency and administrative calls. Dispatches fire, EMS and Sheriff's office. Must be able to work under stressful situations regarding calls for service.
This position requires 12 hour rotating shifts, holidays and weekends.

Additional Information
100% of Employee Medical, Life, LTD and Vision paid by the Sheriff's Office. Dependent coverage is available with a portion also paid by the Sheriff's Office.
Dental is offered with a portion paid by the Sheriff's Office.
Longevity benefits-$15 for every year of service up to 30 years each pay period

Pension benefit through the Louisiana Sheriff's Pension and Relief Fund. The Sheriff's Office pays 100% of the employee contribution for you.
