The Certified Nursing Assistant performs supervised tasks related to the delivery of health and personal care and activities for the residents that reside at Seven Sisters Living Center: to promote optimal health, and comfort and maintain functional ability while contributing to the overall rehabilitative goals and objectives as outlined in the resident plan of care.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum qualifications include Certified Nursing Assistant certification from South Dakota Board of Nursing, current or upcoming certification within 4 months of employment, and ability to meet physical requirements.
Essential FunctionsA resident assistant at Seven Sisters Living Center plays a crucial role in the center's mission, philosophy, values, and objectives. They assess residents' needs, provide supervised care, assist with transfers, and perform nursing activities. They attend staff meetings, complete training, maintain safety, and interact professionally with residents, family, and staff. They maintain confidentiality, participate in quality assurance, and respect resident rights.
