Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in a hospice setting
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and manage symptoms to ensure patient comfort
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and end-of-life care options
- Perform pediatric nursing duties as needed
- Conduct triage and provide appropriate interventions
- Assist with tube feeding and other specialized procedures
- Perform laboratory tests and phlebotomize as required
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Athenahealth
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in [state]
- Minimum of [X] years of nursing experience, preferably in acute care or hospice setting
- Strong knowledge of hospice principles, palliative care, and end-of-life care
- Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures
- Familiarity with EHR systems, such as Athenahealth, for documentation purposes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Compassionate nature and ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
