Soliant is Hiring an Intervention specialist Near Grove, OH

Minimum 1 years special education experience required.

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher . The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing tailored education to students with diverse learning needs and creating a supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Job Details

  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, in collaboration with parents, teachers, and support staff.
  • Differentiating instruction to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
  • Providing direct instruction in core academic subjects, social skills, and life skills, as appropriate for each student's needs.
  • Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and accommodations to support student learning and engagement.
  • Monitoring student progress, collecting data, and regularly assessing student achievement to inform instructional planning and intervention strategies.
  • Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, goals, and strategies for support.

Qualifications : The successful candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to learning disabilities, emotional / behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disabilities.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and community partners.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to the changing needs of students and the school community.
  • Experience with assessment tools and data-driven instruction preferred.

Certifications Required :

  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
  • New Grads Welcome
  • Will Accept Pending License
  • Comfortable Working Onsite
