onsemi is seeking a Security Manager at our Gresham, OR site.

Responsibilities :

  • Reduce the risk to our employees and suppliers across multiple areas of our operations.
  • Manage and direct the planning and implementation of risk reduction efforts.
  • Lead the development and training of a dynamic security department.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the business goals.
  • Lead the Gresham security organization by working closely with multi-functional stakeholders.
  • Implement programs and policies to minimize the risks to our employees and other assets, enabling the success of the company.
  • Conduct investigations into incidents that have occurred that could impact the safety of our employees or be counter to the best interests of the company.
  • Act as an expert consultant to our internal customers around issues of physical security, providing recommendations on policies, system design, and risk reduction methods.
  • Manage the relationships and performance of security services and systems vendors.
  • Ensure that incidents are reported and recorded according to policy
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of appropriate levels of liaison with senior management and external agencies to ensure all security risks are identified and mitigated
  • Support regulatory and legislative compliance
  • Other duties as required

Required Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience : 8-10 years in Security
  • 5-7 years in management
  • An Active Secret Security clearance or the ability to be granted a security clearance by the US Government (based on background check).
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze security risks and develop strategies to combat those risks using sound judgement and professional knowledge.
  • Analytical and process orientation.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multicultural and multi-functional stakeholders.
  • Project management experience.
  • Must be fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Be able to operate independent of direct day to day management
