Schedule: 8-hour shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm. Some weekends as necessary, with a split shift on those weeks

What You'll Do:

  • Perform physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process, and finish product samples
  • Approve materials and finish products based on test results
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate lab equipment as required
  • Maintain lab cleanliness and restock reagent bottles and diluents
  • Peer review test data
  • Provide support to cross function teams to resolve nonconformance issues and identify root causes and corrective actions
  • Support special Quality and continuous improvement projects for facility
  • Maintain accurate, up to date and concise laboratory notebooks and records

What You'll Need:

  • 4-year degree in a science related degree is required
  • Can smell odors and see colors to perform smell, color, and appearance testing is required
  • Experience with basic lab equipment such as pH, balances, microwaves, viscometers, etc.
  • Desire, willingness, and ability to learn new laboratory procedures
  • Attention to detail, time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability and flexibility to work a rotational schedule if needed to support a 24/7 facility operation
  • Having in-depth knowledge of basic analytical testing, laboratory procedures, and good laboratory practices is preferred
  • Experience with HPLC preferred but not required
  • Practical lab experience with GDP exposure preferred
  • Experience with cGMP preferred
