Job details The Process Improvement Manager works closely with DriveSafe teams across our 12 Denver Metro locations, to ensure compliance with state regulations, optimize operating processes and provide administrative staffing coverage as needed. This role also serves as the company’s liaison to state agencies regarding adherence to driver’s education rules and regulations.
The position is required to travel to all DriveSafe locations across the Denver Metro Area as needed, as part of their daily commute. Due to the increased commuting demands of the position, they are eligible for mileage reimbursement for miles in excess of 20 miles per commute. ResponsibilitiesProcess and System Improvement:
  • Work closely with teams to develop and communicate standard operating procedures related to state regulatory compliance and other DriveSafe operating processes.
  • Consult with management across all DriveSafe locations to improve state regulatory compliance and promote operating process best practices.
  • Conduct regular visits to DriveSafe locations to assess current practices, identify inefficiencies, and gather feedback from managers and teams.
  • Foster a culture of collaborative continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, facilitating brainstorming sessions, and promoting best practices among locations.
  • Support the coverage of front office and management staffing as needed across all DriveSafe locations with duties
State Driver’s Education Regulation Procedures
  • Develop and implement systems to guarantee adherence to state regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee completion of monthly internal audits.
  • Manage compliance of DriveSafe fleet of driver’s education vehicles
  • Coordinate communication of customer transfers to meet out-of-state drivers’ education requirements
Liaison to Department of Revenue (DOR), Driver’s Training and Education (DTE), and Driver’s License Office (DLO)
  • Handle all direct liaison communications with state agencies.
  • Gather knowledge and provide expertise on all relevant rules and regulations.
  • Ensure that the company and employees are aligned in all relevant activities with the Department of Revenue rules and regulations.
  • Communicate all vehicle registration and insurance updates with the state offices.
  • Coordinate annual certification renewal submission.
  • Manage the wait list for employee Drive Tester certification training and coordinate Drive Tester refresher training.
  • Provide assistance to resolve emergency customer situations at Driver’s License Offices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years’ experience with Colorado driver’s education regulations preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in process or system management preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal interpersonal communication and team collaboration experience.
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when managing sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and improve processes and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle emergencies and unexpected issues efficiently.

  • Safe driving history - a Motor Vehicle Record check will be reviewed.
  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License
