IVY Infusions & MedSpa is a Medical Spa, Aesthetics & Wellness center all in one. We offer a broad range of wellness, recovery, & weight loss IV therapy treatments, booster injections, and a wide array of aesthetic services including but not limited to, Botox, Fillers, Skin care, Ozone, PRP and more. Our combined knowledge & expertise enables our team to provide top notch professional services that are designed to support overall health and wellness while enhancing your natural beauty & helping you look and feel your best.

The Medical Assistant position represents IVY Infusions & MedSpa and the brand. This person is responsible for assisting our medical provider with procedures & documenting services according to established standard operating procedures and medical protocol. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions to meet the needs of our patients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment, and assist provider with patient services and procedures within the appropriate time allotted for the service.

· Take patient medical history and vital signs.

· Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical instruments according to protocol.

· Support provider in pre and post care, assist with patient intake and treatment prep.

· Review all new patient intake forms, document patient treatments and plans of care, file in the appropriate records.

· Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare provider.

· Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.

· Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records.

· Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to clients.

· Have a thorough working knowledge of all medical protocols, standard operating procedures, and policies.

· Ensure that all patients receive exceptional service and have a comfortable and pleasant experience.

· Create a professional relationship with the patients using excellent verbal and non-verbal communication.

· Always maintain a neat and orderly work area.

· Provide exceptional service to all patients.

· Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training patients in these areas so they are aware of all our services offered.

· Actively promote home skin care regimens and document all medical information using appropriate forms and clinical notes in the software system

· Attend monthly trainings/meetings

· Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and courteously.

· Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by patients, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.

· Possess ability to work without direct supervision.

· Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.

· Regularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings for the medical spa.

· Assist in all areas of business operation as requested by management.

· Attend all scheduled training, in-services, and CEs in and out of house.

· Abide by facility established pricing guides and minimums. Discuss any deviation with management in advance.

· Actively promote treatment plans & home skin care regimens and document all medical information using appropriate forms and clinical notes in the software system.

· Attend monthly trainings/meetings.

· Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and courteously.

· Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by patients, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.

· Possess ability to work without direct supervision.

· Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.

Position Requirements:

· Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.

· Extremely strong time management skills.

· Ability to abide by HIPPA and respect client confidentiality.

· Excellent communication and listening skills as well as basic computer knowledge.

· Attend 2 external trainings per year and educate staff on the course.

· Attendance at all meetings, training, in-services, and other arrangements deemed important to business development by management.

· Absolute confidentiality, as outlined in our confidentiality policy, in all matters pertaining to both clients and the business.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Completion of a medical assistant training program

· Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills
