IVY Infusions & MedSpa is a Medical Spa, Aesthetics & Wellness center all in one. We offer a broad range of wellness, recovery, & weight loss IV therapy treatments, booster injections, and a wide array of aesthetic services including but not limited to, Botox, Fillers, Skin care, Ozone, PRP and more. Our combined knowledge & expertise enables our team to provide top notch professional services that are designed to support overall health and wellness while enhancing your natural beauty & helping you look and feel your best.

The RN Infusion position represents IVY Infusions & MedSpa and the brand. This person is responsible for providing IV infusion therapy to our clients. Assisting our medical provider with procedures & documenting services according to established standard operating procedures and medical protocol. They must possess stellar IV skills and excellent communication skills. They must be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions to meet the needs of our clients. They must hold and maintain a current RN state license.

Registered Nurse - Infusion

Responsibilities:

• Completing patient intake forms and vital signs, which must be sent to provider on duty prior to starting any infusions.
• Excellent IV skills - Proper assessment and placement of IV line.
• Administering infusion therapy treatments/vitamin compounds and/or medications through an IV line utilizing specialized protocols.
• Become knowledgeable with the standard vitamins used in the most common infusions and help clients determine the best infusion for their specific needs (material will be provided- also see our website for useful information)
• Be comfortable and familiar with all IV related practices and procedures.
• Administer IM, Sub Q injections per patient treatment plans.
• Effectively educate patients on their condition, treatment plans, patient goals, medications being administered, etc.
• Recording patient information including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment in a timely manner and before shift completion.
• Preparing equipment and supplies for infusion therapy and monitoring patients during infusions.
• Monitoring patient comfort level throughout the infusion to ensure safety and effectiveness and they are tolerating the treatment well.
• Document accurate patient information and progress in medical records.
• Maintain a sterile environment during procedures and follow proper sterile processing protocols
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of infections

Qualifications:

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of CT

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in infusion therapy or related field required

-Formal training or certification in IV therapy is required

- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and maintain patient confidentiality

-Understanding of IV therapy protocols, techniques, and equipment.

-Previous experience as an Infusion RN or similar role in a healthcare setting is required.

-Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.

-Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

-Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

-Knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques.
