Reports To: President/COO

Status: Exempt – Full Time

Position Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to plan and execute a marketing and advertising strategy designed to introduce market participants to Counterpointe’s financing products and sustainability solutions. You will fulfill this unique, dual role of leading all of our marketing initiatives while supporting our internal business development efforts. The role will include enhancing our presence and visibility through website development, SEO, social media and print as well as coordinating client outreach and physical engagement through conferences and other marketing events. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in marketing of B2B financial products.

Primary Duties:

  • Plan and execute our marketing and advertising strategy to meet quarterly growth goals
  • Increase brand awareness, maintain our position as thought leader and drive lead generation among multiple stakeholders from commercial real estate investors, ESG impact investors, construction industry, OEM manufacturers, government policy makers, energy sector and those concerned with green building and sustainability.
  • Build and manage multi-channel campaigns from strategic conception on how to maximize applications to execution of media, digital and print vehicles
  • Develop and manage CRM strategies and work with executives to maximize relationships, to generate leads and to develop existing inquiries.
  • Create marketing materials and collateral to support client interactions and presentations
  • Develop lead capturing promotions for email marketing, workflow development and campaigns
  • Drive and leverage all relevant channels to drive brand and demand: ad campaigns, press releases, trade publications, retail websites traffic, content marketing, thought leadership, videos, webinars, workshops, seminars and other events.
  • Identify 3rd party resources as required; direct and mentor current creative staff Lead efforts to develop best-in-class sales enablement tools and resources to support sales staff and market development on national, state and municipal level for construction, government, financial and real estate industries.
  • Evaluate, develop the strategy for and manage the company’s marketing technology stack with an emphasis on measurable impact on applications received for financing
  • Manage budgeting for all marketing, advertising and events
  • Manage investor communications and public relations
  • Plan and execute our marketing and advertising strategy focusing on middle markets and principal transactions for prospect development

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will possess a blend of Marketing expertise and business development acumen.
  • Ability to develop and execute clear quarterly marketing plans along with the confidence and experience to change direction based on results and update tactical plans based on a fast-changing business environment
  • Experience optimizing brand digital channels – media, website, social channels, landing pages, etc
  • Experience across a range of GTM channels including SEO, SEM, content syndication, display, paid social, ad networks/DSPs, direct, partnerships, etc.
  • Experience with all aspects of campaign management including media planning/testing, creative development, and ongoing optimization
  • Very strong writing capabilities – internal strategy/positioning/messaging, external presentations, RFPs and related materials
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic environment.
  • Background in financial services or banking is preferred. OEM, solar, energy finance, commercial real estate or construction experience a plus.
