- CAD(Carlson) Trimble & Topcon software proficient
- Ability to use dimensions from pdfs and hard prints to calculate exact layout locations of new construction footprints, piers, footings, walls, anchor bolts placement, paving, sidewalks, curbs, light pole bases,
- The candidate must be able to load the info into their instrument and transfer layouts into the field for our construction crew by providing horizontal and vertical reference points via staking and flagging, consisting of either exact location or offsets depending on the work being performed
- Candidate must be proficient to work with GPS and robotics.
- Must be able to use instruments to verify existing control points and existing elevations prior to providing site layouts
- Knowledge of field survey operations, gps layout, machine control ( set-up and calibration )
- This position will require both office and field work alike
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in learning new software and technologies
- Excellent organizational and communications skills
- Strong technical background
- Ability and focus on Quality Control/Quality Assurance
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Desire to succeed and excel in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to climb ladders, work around traffic, and work in various weather conditions
- Good driving record
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
