This position will cover the Greensburg, South Greensburg, Latrobe, Ligonier, Ligonier Giant Eagle, Mount Pleasant, Mount Pleasant Walmart, North Huntingdon Walmart, Norwin Town Square, Scottdale, and Youngwood Shop n Save Offices.

SUMMARY - Employee that will accurately & efficiently perform in a professional environment and is the "face of Somerset Trust Company" to our branch customers by providing personable, quick service performing a set of regular procedures, as well as a variety of customer requests & transactions.

Employee will clearly & respectfully communicate with customers and have ability to resolve customer issues as they arise.

Greets customers with a smile.

Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements.

Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.

Accepts loan and credit card payments.

Records transactions in core system and provides receipts to customer.

Balances currency, coin, and checks at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on core system.

Recognizes opportunities to explain, promote, or sell financial products or services offered by the bank.

Processes additional transactions as required including but not limited to night depository transactions.

Works to resolve customer issues and provide assistance as required.

Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements (e.g.

BSA Policy).

Other duties assigned as deemed necessary.

Travels to assigned branches and ensure flexibility to meet branch needs as warranted.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and / or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and security procedures.

Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully communicate with customers or coworkers.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

REASONING ABILITY - Ability to apply common sense to perform assigned duties and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

OTHER SKILLS - Displays an eagerness & ability to learn, efficiently use the technology provided, and is receptive to new ideas.
