Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist provides educational occupational therapy services to students (k-12). The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the proper interpretation and performance of essential duties and responsibilities. This is a virtual (online) full time position.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities: Essential Job Functions:
Required Skills/Abilities: Must be a licensed occupational therapist (OT). Active NBCOT certification. Ability to effectively analyze needs and problems objectively. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, students, parents, staff, administration, and the general public. Perform all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the total school program. Knowledge and proficient use of relevant technology including the use and access of technology and online programs.
Education and Experience: If you have a passion for unique, individualized approaches to learning, working collaboratively with all teachers and educational service providers, and are an experienced, licensed occupational therapist, Greater Commonwealth Virtual School (GCVS) is looking for you. We’re seeking an occupational therapist who can apply their unique skill sets to our proven, virtual home-based model of education. Flexibility and the ability to embody reflective practices on an ongoing basis are essential.
