We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy part-time Office Manager to join our small law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate office operations to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Print, scan and copy legal documents (this must be done in-office)
- Maintain and update client files; draft professional cover letters; respond to emails promptly (remote okay)
- Monitor and replenish office supply inventory and occasionally assist with personal organization.
- Record legal documents with county offices (training provided).
Requirements:
- Prior office management experience with proficiency in computer operations and office equipment.
- Advanced proficiency in operating computers, printers, and scanners, including occasionally setting up a new computer and printer on wireless network.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (OneDrive, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Quick learner with the capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate ranging from $25 to $35, depending on experience. Pay can increase rapidly with added proficiency.
- Approximately 10-20 hours per week spread across 2-4 weekdays, with flexible timing between 10am and 5:30pm.
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree (although not mandatory).
- Prefer someone located within 15 miles of Bon Air Center in Greenbrae, California (candidates with a long commute are discouraged to apply).
- Previous experience in a law firm environment is not required.
