DescriptionIMAGINE THIS:
  • Starting base wage is $18/hr for QUALIFIED CANDIDATES.

Role Accountability
  • Lead the Packaging Production team to be the best they can be!
  • Input production paperwork into Epicor.
  • Package pet food into bags, boxes, and other packaging containers.
  • Measure, weigh, or otherwise count pet food products into appropriate amounts to adhere to packaging requirements and specifications.
  • Place labels or other identifying signage on bags, boxes or other packaging containers.
  • Lift boxes and place them on pallets.
  • Scan with a handheld scanner, wrap and label pallets and utilize a pallet jack to move pallets.
  • Fill out production paperwork.
  • Report issues with regards to the food safety/quality assurance system (FSQA) to Leadership and adhere to the requirements of the FSQA standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Perform all task requests, regardless of job level.
  • This role will report to a Production Supervisor and lead multiple production lines.

  • Follow SOPs for your equipment or process without supervision

  • Perform set-ups for your area without supervision and pass annual retests.

RequirementsOTHER:Pre-employment drug screen and confidentiality agreement required. Position based in Green Bay, WI. No relocation assistance available.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience & Abilities
  • Proven production experience with an interest in leading a team preferred.
  • Able to foster teamwork.
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for entire shift.
  • Able to safely walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, turn, stretch, reach, etc.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions and work well in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to count accurately.
  • Must feel "at home" in a multi-cultural, meat-packaging environment.
