With direction and partnership of the Executive Leadership Team, this role is responsible for the full-time and campus selection efforts for the Greater Green Bay office to include the surrounding areas spanning of Brown, Kewaunee, Oconto Counties, and on campus as necessary. This role will execute office recruiting plans to reach activity and talent goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Full-Time Sourcing and Selection

• Build and develop effective referral sources with Financial Representatives/staff, develop productive centers of influence (COIs), and develop qualified lead strategies from a variety of sources (i.e., referrals, COIs, advertising, career fairs, social media, etc.)
• Actively participate in community clubs and organizations to promote and brand Northwestern Mutual
• Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies to include ads, social media and community events, etc.
• Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices
• Specific selection process accountability to include but not limited to screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, administering selection tools and guiding candidates through the selection process
• Review resumes and schedule initial interviews
• Effectively communicate with candidates
• Manage all onboarding for full-time candidates

Campus Sourcing and Selection

• Master information and language regarding all aspects of the College Financial Internship as well as each step of the selection process
• Work with the network office Intern Leadership team and the Executive Director of Recruiting & Selection to determine conversion and internship goals & activity
• Execute network office campus recruiting plan to reach activity and contract goals
• Review all campus resumes received to determine eligibility for screening interviews
• Conduct all on-campus screening interviews for internship candidates
• Manage all campus candidates through the selection process
• Participate in campus career fairs and engage Internship Leaders to own specific events
• Manage and implement campus advertising and promotions
• Mine resumes from recruiting job boards (Indeed, Campus Job Boards, Monster, etc.) and create feed lists via social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
• Manage all onboarding for intern candidates

Accountability, Tracking and Analysis

• Report weekly recruiting activity to leadership team; including Intern Leadership and local leadership teams
• Develop proficiency and use of home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process
• Assist in the coordination of leadership team meetings and the preparation of activity/results reports
• Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in selection process; establish and implement improvements
• Work with CLR Team to ensure candidates obtain the appropriate contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• One to three years professional work experience, preferably in sales, recruiting or the financial services industry
• Demonstrated ability to work professionally as a team member and with all levels of people
• Track record of ownership in prior roles;the ability to brainstorm solutionsand to implement ideas
• Experience with prospecting; generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions preferred
• Strong personal network and/or community involvement to leverage from a recruiting perspective
• Excellent communication skills required
• Background and experience in creating and implementing a strong social media presence
• Ability to develop relationships with professors and student leaders
• Attention to detail and high levels of organization
• Achievement driven with a strong sense of responsibility
• Hours may fluctuate based on campus recruiting events.
