Connect Search is hiring a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our client's finance team in Green Bay. The ideal candidate will support the financial operations by maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Conduct variance analyses and provide insights
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
- Collaborate with other departments on financial matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
