As a new Optometric Medical Assistant at EnVision Eye Care, you can expect to assist with various tasks to support our eye care professionals. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, conducting preliminary tests on patients, updating medical records, and providing exceptional customer service. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to ensure the smooth flow of patient appointments and contribute to an efficient and welcoming clinic environment. The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, providing you with a consistent work routine to help you settle into your role and excel in your responsibilities.
To excel as an Optometric Medical Assistant at EnVision Eye Care, you should possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Attention to detail is crucial when conducting tests and updating medical records. Proficiency in using basic office equipment and computer skills is required for tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing electronic medical records.
