Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant II to join our team at FACE Amusement Group in Gray, TN. The Staff Accountant II will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success and growth of our dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies

• Support the annual audit process

• Make traditional accounting entries to the General Ledger

• Analyze financial data and create reports as needed

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes

• Participate in the development of accounting policies and procedures

• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance

• Seeking demonstrated experience in the food and beverage industry. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to operate a computer, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This job operates in a fun and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
