Responsibilities

Position Summary :

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for executing various clerical and secretary functions for the Diagnostic Imaging department : answer and direct phone calls computer entry of patient data exam entry registrations / reception of patients fulfillment of film requests patient scheduling editing of reports enhancing patient experience by minimizing wait times and providing other similar tasks.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

• One (1) year clerical and / or receptionist experience required.
• Computer / typing skills
• Use of various office equipment including fax / copier
• Able to read speak and write English
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Microsoft Office preferred
• Medical Terminology preferred
• Experience in a hospital or medical clinic preferred.
