Responsibilities
- Manage and reduce the backlog of Accounts Receivable
- Develop solutions to maximize collectors' time and provide them with the right direction
- Display strong operational leadership skills
- Exhibit collection leadership experience
- Provide side by side assistance and work through issues with staff
- Guide and motivate staff in their day-to-day activities
- Manage collectors across multiple locations
- Communicate and report up to the Director / VP of AR & Collections
- Focus primarily on collections as opposed to AR reconciliations or analysis
- Demonstrate proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, Microsoft Excel, Accounting Functions, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, Cash Activity, Check Processing.
Requirements
- Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
- Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
- Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)
- Proficiency in IBM AS/400
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge in Accounting Functions
- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Familiar with Billing Functions
- Understanding of Cash Activity
- Experience in Check Processing
