Position Overview / Day to Day Responsibilities: Smart Start is looking for a well-rounded Desktop Support Technician to join their IT Infrastructure & Operations team for a long-term opportunity. They want someone who is eager to learn, adapt, and grow their skillset. This person will be the first line of defense for the IT Department. They will be handling inbound IT support requests from all levels of the organization. This includes workstation support and deployment, end-client user management, and maintaining software packages, basic network troubleshooting, and application support for both third party and custom applications.
Top Skills1 years’ experience within IT Desktop Support, utilizing a ticket system.
Experience communicating, remoting in, and working with end-users on their devices
Working experience with setting up and imaging PCs and workstations, as well as reimaging
Experience with Active Directory
Hands on experience with hardware replacement and installations
Must have experience working within a Windows environment – Also Linux environment a plus
Nice To HaveHands on experience with software packaging & application support
Experience with Thin Client is huge plus
