Position: Grocery Store Manager
Hours: Monday - Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Role: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Grocery Store Manager to lead our team. This role demands a passionate individual who excels in communication, management, training, and inspiration. As the face of our store, you will ensure that each customer experiences exceptional service and that our team operates harmoniously and efficiently. You will be responsible for providing ideas and leading store implementation of our continuous improvement initiatives in operations, marketing, fulfillment, logistics, and customer experience without losing what has made us so successful.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation, keeping displays fully stocked and visually appealing.
  • Foster a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members, fostering a culture of joy, willingness to serve, and teamwork.
  • Implement and uphold service excellence, ensuring every customer interaction is positive.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring product quality.
  • Practice role level financial acumen by working closely with department managers to develop and implement department budgets and goals that lead to store budgets and goals.
  • Work closely with team leaders to achieve operational goals and maintain high service standards.
  • Engage with the community, understanding their needs and ensuring the store reflects these insights.
  • Learn and respect the established culture of Cartwright's Market before implementing any changes, ensuring a seamless transition.
