North Homes Children and Family Services is a private, non-profit agency that provides comprehensive mental health services to children, adults and families across Northern Minnesota. Our mission is to provide compassionate care to children, adults and families.
Our Adult Services Program is growing! Services include Adult Mental Health Case Management, Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services, Peer Support Specialists, and Housing Supportive Services. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Housing Program Coordinator.
Major Job Duties (Job Specific)
Community
- Provide community education
- Market and promote program
- Network with area agencies and resources
- Develop partnerships with landlords
Client Interaction
- Meet with clients to determine eligibility, their housing preferences and needs
- Complete the Person-Centered Housing Focus Plan
- Submit eligibility packet to MN DHS and track MNITS
Coordination of Program
- Assign clients with staff, oversee eligibility and documentation compliance
- Manage agency storage unit and seek donations and housing supplies to assist clients
Requirements
Must be 21 years old and have a valid Minnesota Drivers License.
Mental health practitioner preferred however Minnesota Department of Human Services training provided.
