Summary

The Team Loan Officer will assist Loan Officer(s) in growing his or her business while learning the industry, marketing, and sales strengths to find prospects, generate leads and convert applications opportunities to loans.

This position will ensure that reports, communications, and client documentation are accurate and done in a timely manner;

will abide by all the ethical rules and regulatory guidelines in all aspects of the company's operations.

Essential Job Functions :

• Assist Loan Officer(s) in developing and maintaining relationships with borrowers, real estate agents, builders, financial planners, and other referral sources
• Meet with borrowers when requested to collect and analyze their information regarding income, assets, investments and / or debt to advise borrowers regarding different and detailed loan programs.
• Help the Loan Officer Structure deals with looking up guidelines
• Assist in evaluating possible loan scenarios and determine which financial products meet the borrower's needs
• Update database(s) with new Agents
• Work with borrower to collect items needed
• Coordinate with LO & Processor on who contacts the borrower for items needed.
• Liaison with processing department to obtain documentation necessary for loan approval
• Send out PQF's when needed
• Understand and effectively utilize industry sales tools
• Provide continuing counsel and customer service to borrower throughout the entire loan process.
• Consistently review investor guidelines and stay informed of changes relevant to the mortgage industry, including local housing trends, markets and interests rates.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• Minimum of 1-year related work experience
• Must have sales experience, NMLS License required
• Must have software competence with Microsoft
• Ability to communicate both written and orally
• Must possess good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, bending at the waist, climbing, kneeling, and stooping for installation of hardware and hearing and speaking to communicate and provide information to others.
