FLSA Classification: Full-Time, Hourly
Rate/ Salary: $55,000/ year
Location: Grand Junction, Headquarters office
This position is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday. The hours may vary depending on the demands of our partners but ideally will fall between 8 am-5 pm.
Job Summary:
A Kaart planner is responsible for facilitating the best possible outcomes for our clientele. They must have a keen eye for detail and excellent negotiation skills. They must collaborate with the team, read and understand regulations, industry standards and best practices. The planner will work to prepare and process various land development applications, managing plans, renderings, drawings and supporting documents. They also coordinate planned area development and design guidelines for master plans, as well as expedite processing for land subdivisions and use permits. Additionally, they prepare and administer applications for small business development and advise clients on environmental impact and mitigation. The planners review and comment on development proposals and conduct site visits, and represent clients in community meetings.
