Location: Altru Health System PO Box 6002 Grand Forks, ND 58201 Pay Range: $72,696.00 - $109,116.00 Summary: Manager Finance is responsible for overseeing the daily finance department operations, policies, and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Manager Finance oversees preparation and administration of general accounting, finance, treasury, and cash management Essential Job Functions: Manages all aspects of financial operations, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, account reconciliations, accrual schedules, and journal entries to ensure timely and accurate closure of books. Oversees external financial reporting to meet deadlines and comply with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Contributes to financial performance evaluations by analyzing reports and records to support short-term and long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts. Supports internal and external audits, including interim and year-end audits, and assists in establishing and maintaining internal controls for financial functions. Participates in the development and implementation of cost allocation methodologies for the cost accounting system, generating reports on service line profitability. Collaborates with executive leadership, physicians, community members, and stakeholders to achieve operational and budget targets. Identifies operational efficiencies and engages employees and physicians in workforce redesign to enhance patient care and workplace productivity. Provides financial education and engages employees in departmental financial improvement initiatives. Performs additional duties as required to support departmental and organizational needs.
