Job Overview:
Create and maintain a clean, safe and wholesome plant and conduct proper cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment.
Train sanitation personnel (proper cleaning of the equipment by following safety instructions)
Oversee the implementation of safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to support their facility-related needs and address any issues or concerns.
Titration of the soap
Test of the chemicals and recording it on the Titration Test
Record and report any problems that may cause an unsanitary condition (within sanitation, maintenance or production departments)
Write new SOPs for the sanitation of the new equipment
Release and inspect fixed equipment from maintenance shop and record it on the Equipment Release Log
Perform the pre-operational and operational sanitation audit in the plant
Manage monthly and yearly plant cleaning schedule
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run
Participate in SQF and GMP annual re-training for year round food safety
Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Proficiency in supervising staff and managing teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in Food Manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of GMPs
- Strong project management skills to plan and execute facility improvement projects.
