Job Summary: In this supervisor role, you will directly supervise 4 or more Accounts Receivable specialists. In this position you will be collaborating with other departments. The A/R Supervisor is responsible for managing the collection of accounts receivable from the State of Minnesota and various Managed Care Organizations.
Essential Job Duties:
- Working cross - functionality with other departments.
- Electronic billing maintenance and configuring.
- Runs monthly and quarterly reporting and other reporting as needed. Solid Excel skills are required.
- This position will help as needed to maintain departmental goals and deadlines.
- Responsible to update departmental procedures and manuals as needed.
- One year of supervision experience is required.
- A minimum of a 2-year degree in accounting or related field and professional job experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working within health plans/insurance, billing state and county offices via EDI X12 is preferred.
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Great Plains and Mfiles experience preferred
