DescriptionRetail Merchandising Services, Inc. (RMS) is looking for a Part-Time Merchandising Representative to work in retail stores within a 15-mile radius of your home on a weekly, bi-weekly, or one-time basis. The position offers flexible scheduling with part-time hours averaging 5-10 hours per week, contingent on workload variations throughout the year.
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $13.85 - $18.00
- Additional compensation for mileage and drive time when temporarily working in a different store
- Pay increases based on tenure
- Access to benefits such as 401k, medical insurance, and employee discount programs
- Manage projects assigned by stocking products, organizing sales floors, conducting audits, setting up displays, and completing necessary data collection
- Communicate project completion through the RMS Web Portal or Mobile App
- Make decisions on issue escalation, work scheduling, and problem-solving to meet deadlines
- Foster professional relationships with store personnel and RMS colleagues
- Engage in physical work activities based on frequency levels outlined in the description
- Understanding of retail operations and merchandising
- Access to transportation within a 15-mile radius, with the ability to transport supplies
- Internet access, smart device with iOS or Android OS, and email communication capabilities
- Effective communication skills in-person, via phone, and email
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow directions
- Proficiency in using basic tools and adaptable to change
