Arizona Generator Technology, Inc dba GEN-TECH is Hiring a Parts Specialist Near Glendale, AZ
GEN-TECH is a full service Industrial Power Generator Company five locations across Arizona, Southern Nevada, Denver CO and Albuquerque NM. We are a 32 year company that provides New Equipment Products, Rentals, Service, Parts, Fueling and Training. We are an engine dealer for many Brands. We are seeking Individuals looking for a career in the Power Generation and Equipment Industry.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Purchasing parts from multiple suppliers to support both Service and OTC customers.
- Ability to accurately identify required parts.
- Provide a high level of customer service for external customers.
- Pull/Stage Parts: for service orders, shop/facility maintenance
- Process Customer Parts Orders: Phone. E-Mail, Web Quote, Will Call, Outbound Shipping.
- Ensure established processes and procedures are followed.
- Ensure Inventory Accuracy: Both physical counts and warehouse locations.
Secondary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Pull Customer Parts Orders: Follow company processes, emphasize accuracy – quantity, part number, shipping instructions
- Assist with Physical Inventory preparation and counting.
- Assist with periodic warehouse cycle counts.
- Shipping & Receiving Functions:
- Basic Warehouse Duties: Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Forklift Operation: Material handling, equipment organization
- Shipping & Receiving Functions:
- Minimum 1-year experience
- Previous automotive/industrial parts experience. Military experience is a plus.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Forklift certification or equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license - Clean driving record
- Additional information US citizenship or authorization to work in US – Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Bilingual a plus
- Be able to communicate (in English) verbally, writing, information, instructions and explanations to associates, clients and management
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to pass a Background check, Physical exam and Drug screen
- Ability to work irregular hours / overtime
- Excellent customer service skills
- Consistent attendance.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
