Job Title: Product Manager - Pharmaceutical Products

Location: Glen Rock Pennsylvania (on site)

Salary: 140k - $165k

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead the growth of our pharmaceutical product lines. This role involves managing existing products and driving the development and launch of new products through structured processes. Successful pricing strategies are essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market, clear articulation of target markets, and strong value proposition communication skills. This individual will be responsible for achieving sales revenue, cost of goods sold, manufacturing costs, and operating profit targets.

Essential Functions:

  • Represent the company professionally and with utmost integrity.
  • Develop an extensive network of potential clients, identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing potential opportunities.
  • Lead the market-backed strategy development process.
  • Outline and execute future technology, strategic, and sales growth roadmaps.
  • Secure JV partnerships and strategic commercial partnerships to grow topline sales.
  • Manage key strategic commercial opportunities and transition them to Sales.
  • Develop new work plans for the company.
  • Attend 8-10 conferences and/or tradeshows annually to secure partnerships and key growth opportunities.
  • Manage all aspects of key customer engagement, ensuring effective communication at all levels.
  • Work with customers and internal teams to develop design input for new projects and coordinate customer interactions.
  • Organize customer information efficiently to support business operations.
  • Assemble and communicate accurate period and annual forecasts.
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals, monitor key metrics, and implement improvement actions as needed.
  • Formulate and manage pricing strategy to optimize product value.
  • Negotiate customer contracts and supply agreements, ensuring clear expectations and protecting the company’s interests.
  • Participate in annual and long-range business planning, developing market and opportunity penetration strategies.
  • Communicate business status effectively within and across divisions.
  • Conduct all activities in a professional, respectful manner consistent with company principles and LEAN culture.
  • Present at tradeshows and conferences on topics such as technical papers, market trends, and best practices.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or business discipline; MBA preferred.
  • Experience with FDA-regulated business and compliance with FDA 21 CFR 211 regulations.
  • Familiarity with DEA regulations for handling controlled substances (e.g., Schedules II-V).
  • 5 years of business development and sales experience in the pharmaceutical or drug-delivery sector, preferably with transdermal and oral thin film applications.
  • Ability to analyze market landscapes and formulate and implement strategies.
  • Excellent networking, relationship-building, selling, and customer management skills.
  • Experience negotiating JV partnerships and key customer agreements/contracts.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams to develop new products and processes.
  • Proficiency with standard desktop computer software applications.
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time, including some international travel.
  • Work 100% onsite.
