Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Used Car Manager to join our team. As the Used Car Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and operations of our used car department. This is a key leadership role that requires strong sales skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the used car department, including inventory control, pricing, and merchandising
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Train and motivate sales staff to achieve individual and departmental goals
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance
- Negotiate with customers to close deals and maximize profitability
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to used car sales
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outbound sales, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate deals
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in retail math calculations
- Ability to effectively manage inventory control
