About The Role The Inventory Control Lead is responsible ensuring the day-to-day operations with the instruction provided by the Inventory Control Manager to maintain inventory accuracy, process inventory transactions, assign bin locations, coordinate material returned from production and assist with the investigation / resolution of any inventory discrepancies. What You Will Do Cycle Count Process Create, distribute and manage cycle count sheets to include data entry validation for raw materials, WIP and finished goods Perform investigations and audits as required Assist with the resolution of inventory discrepancies to include root cause analysis Bin Locations Assign bin locations for inventory staged for put-away using the FIFO method and consolidate as available Ensure bin accuracy through daily cycle counts/audits Training Train team members to perform specified tasks Train team members to support 7S initiatives and manage daily/weekly audits What You Bring Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task Possess a high level of integrity and strong work ethic Ability to work with cross-functional team Ability to simplify issues/direction and communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of employees Ability to pull information together from numerous sources and consolidate into a plan/direction for the organization Ability to perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Analytical problem solving Proficient with Microsoft Excel High school diploma or higher in a related discipline Prior inventory control related experience required Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word) Experience with continuous improvement / lean programs is beneficial but not required About ZT Systems At ZT Systems, you’ll get to do work you are proud of alongside smart, passionate people.
