Key Responsibilities
- Job Costing:
- Develop and implement job costing systems and procedures.
- Analyze job costs and provide detailed reports to management.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in job costing processes.
- Team Supervision:
- Oversee and mentor a team of junior accountants and finance staff.
- Coordinate daily tasks and assignments to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
- General Responsibilities:
- Assist the Controller in developing and maintaining internal controls.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Participate in financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Continuously improve accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of job costing, financial reporting, and team supervision.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
