Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings and possess a strong skill set in patient care.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and injections following established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the healthcare team.
- Assist in medical procedures such as airway management and wound care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems like Athenahealth.
- Provide care in diverse settings including medical offices, primary care, behavioral health, and occupational health.
- Utilize experience in pediatric care and ICU settings when caring for patients.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current licensure.
- Experience in administering injections and managing airways is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical office standards and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in various healthcare settings including primary care, behavioral health, and occupational health.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing quality patient care.
- Knowledge of primary care practices and experience working with diverse patient populations.
