Inventory Control Clerk (Purchasing) - Gastonia, NC
Responsibilities
- Sending out request for quotes for both raw material and parts
- Matching quotes as they are sent back
- Follow up on request for quotes as needed
- Reviewing quotes to determine best price
- Enters and submits purchase orders to vendors
- Monitors open purchase orders to insure shipments are on time and communicates with sales/production on status of past due PO’s
- Maintain vendor information in system
- Assist accounting with any discrepancies on invoices from vendors
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate well with others (multi person office)
- Must be able to multitask & be strong focused in fast paced environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft and Excel
- Must be dependable
Pay Range and Schedule:
- $15 - $18
- Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday - 7:00am – 3:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
